The first of an extremely limited run of just 10 Robin Freedom basses crafted in Houston, Texas in 1997, this compelling Southern California inspired bass boasts classic contours and intuitive controls, a beautifully ambered 3-Color Sunburst finish, and low, even action across a slim tapered maple neck carved in Japan, with familar 34" scale Rosewood fingerboard with 1.5" nut width. Houston-built Rio Grande Powerbuckers pickups pack three distinct tones, all accessible at a flick of the instrument's single toggle switch. With an alternative tortoiseshell pickguard included and a Vintage Guitar Magazine article featuring this exact bass in the instrument's original fitted hard case, this rare Robin is ready to bring that late '90s low end!
