Fender Japan Esprit Standard Electric Guitar Early 1980s Autumn Burst w/Original Molded Case
Introduced as part of Fender’s innovative Master Series in the early 1980s, the Japanese-built Fender Esprit Standard is a rare, hidden gem that seamlessly bridges the gap between classic double-cutaway builds and Fender’s legendary playability. Crafted with meticulous Japanese attention to detail, it features a semi-hollow chambered body with a carved top, a set neck, and a pair of dual humbuckers, delivering a rich, warm tone with plenty of sustain—a setup famous for inspiring jazz-fusion legend Robben Ford. Dressed in a rich Autumn Burst finish, the warm amber and deep tobacco tones highlight the wood grain to give it a timeless vintage elegance. Whether you are looking for smooth jazz warmth, gritty blues bite, or a unique piece of 1980s Fender history, the Esprit offers exceptional craftsmanship and tone that punches far above its weight class.
