Crafted by Master Builder Kyle McMillin, the Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt 1965 Stratocaster Ultra Relic Heavy Aged Lake Placid Blue is a high-end tribute to a classic era of Fender instrument design. Featuring a heavily distressed nitrocellulose lacquer finish over an alder body, it offers the broken-in aesthetic and resonant response of a decades-old vintage original. The guitar is built with a 1965 "C"-profile maple neck topped with a 7.25"-radius AAA rosewood fingerboard, 21 vintage upgrade frets, and a bone nut for classic playability and tactile comfort. Soundwise, it comes loaded with a set of Josefina hand-wound '60s Stratocaster pickups with an RWRP middle pickup, delivering authentic mid-60s bell-like chime, clear articulation, and hum-canceling flexibility in positions 2 and 4.
