The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1959 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Wide Fade 3-Color Sunburst is a masterfully crafted tribute to a pivotal transition year in Fender history, combining vintage Golden Era character with modern playability. This guitar features a two-piece select alder body finished in a thin, nitrocellulose lacquer that has undergone the Heavy Relic treatment to simulate decades of professional road wear. Its sonic heart consists of a trio of hand-wound Texas Special single-coil pickups, delivering an overwound "Texas Blues" tone with a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup for hum-canceling in the 2nd and 4th positions. The instrument is further distinguished by a stable roasted quartersawn maple neck with a comfortable '59 "C" profile, topped with a 9.5"-radius AAA rosewood fingerboard and 6100 jumbo frets for effortless bending.
