The Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster Super Heavy Relic in Nocaster Blonde is a masterful recreation of the early "Blackguard" era, meticulously aged to deliver the deep playwear and dirty checking of a road-worn classic. It features a lightweight, two-piece off-center ash body that provides exceptional resonance and vintage snap, paired with a substantial rifle-sawn maple neck carved to a period-correct 1951 "U" profile.
While its appearance is purely historic, the guitar offers modern playability through a 7.25"–9.5" vintage compound-radius fingerboard and 21 vintage upgrade frets. Tonally, it is powered by hand-wound '51 Nocaster pickups and wired to a '51 Mod Nocaster Relic control set, offering the articulate, punchy, and dynamic sound that defined the first Fender electrics.
