The Taylor 517e Urban Ironbark is a Grand Pacific (dreadnought-style) steel-string acoustic-electric that pairs a torrefied Sitka spruce top with solid Urban Ironbark back and sides for a voice that emphasizes punch, balance, and clarity. V-Class bracing shapes the top’s response to deliver increased sustain and more defined overtones, while the neotropical mahogany neck with a comfortable standard carve and satin finish provides smooth playability. The 15" radius Crelicam ebony fingerboard is bound and fitted with faux-pearl inlays, and the guitar’s appointments include a single-ring rosette and faux-tortoise binding for a refined aesthetic. Plugged-in performance is handled by Taylor’s ES2 pickup system for a natural amplified tone.
