Built during the early years of Seagull's acclaimed Maritime series, this increasingly rare 2008 Maritime Mini Jumbo features a Select Pressure Tested solid spruce top and road-ready laminate mahogany back & sides. This guitar provides an excellent full-range of tone including a lively mid-range due to the combination of a larger lower bout, a more narrow waist and slightly thinner body depth. The Maritime Mini Jumbo also features a high-gloss Custom Polished Finish. This finish provides excellent protection but at the same time is extremely light and elastic. This is a crucial point in both the sound of the guitar and its ability to age – a thick finish muffles a guitar’s vibration and blocks aging.Notes:
