Premier (Multivox New York) Bantam Deluxe Hollow Body Late 1950s Blonde and Gold w/Original Hard Case
Still notably sought after for its era-defining late '50s looks, instantly comfortable 13.5" width, and the balanced warmth of twin wide-wound DeArmond designed singlecoil pickups, this beautifully worn-in Premier (Multivox New York) Bantam Deluxe Hollow Body still boasts its original Blonde and Gold finish (now "greening" nicely!) naturally aged over decades of live and session work, with remarkably playable low, even action across a familiar rosewood fingerboard.
This Late 1950s Premier (Multivox New York) Bantam Deluxe Hollow Body is in Very Good condition, part of a climate-controlled collection, with visible surface wear consistent with age and appropriate live use over 60+ years. As thoroughly photographed, binding has deteriorated, with what appears to be an attempt by a previous owner to stabilize with adhesive (pictured), most visibly where binding meets back of neck joint. Sealed Grover tuners likely replaced in '70s-'80s, original tuners not included. Electronics are fully functional and quiet, tone knob is able to over-turn a bit if pushed, 1/4" jack is stable with a tiny amount of play. Sticker on instrument and case non-original, but definitely adds to the rockabilly vibe of this Premier! Includes original hard case.
