With its fully-hollow body construction perfectly paired with a single DeArmond pickup in the neck position, the articulate, throaty growl of this increasingly rare late 1950s Harmony H45 Stratotone Mars has kept this Chicago-crafted vintage piece a live and studio staple— lightweight enough for the most fiery performances, but built simply and durably for years of touring. Notes:
This late 1950s Harmony H45 Stratotone Mars Hollow Body is in Excellent condition, part of a single-owner, climate controlled collection, with very light visible wear (pictured) consistent with age and appropriate use, including a slightly bent "G" tuner, does not affect playability or performance. Low, even action across the fingerboard, electronics are fully functional, though tone bypass switch must be pushed firmly to engage. Includes non-original hard case.
