Boutique amp fans, if you know, you know. This impossibly rare, handbuilt and handwired Surfer 100-watt tube head is the inspired work of Santa Margarita, CA-based Dario Gomez, who in his own words, sought to deliver a "100-watt surf experience straight from the howling barrels of the 60's."The Surfer painstakingly recreates the early '60s "brown panel" Fender 6G14-A Showman circuit, maintaining the signature Gomez amp styling of rough-blonde tolex, oxblood grille cloth and white barrel knobs, while retaining an unparalleled dedication to heavy-duty construction and quality componentry. You can take off on the super "GLASSY" side for a clean, crystalline carving or take a ride on the "WILD" side with it's unique wavy tremolo and be, well, totally stoked.
