Originally introduced as an innovative "multi-sound" collaboration between guitar designer Bill Lawrence and Gibson, this 1976 Gibson L6-S Custom is enjoying a surge in popularity as a remarkably versatile vintage instrument at a true player's price.
An all-maple body, 3-piece maple neck, and beautifully played-in maple fingerboard pair with the rock-solid intonation of an original Schaller adjustable bridge and Grover tuners, while Lawrence's intuitive six-way rotary selector switch coaxes a notoriously wide tonal palette from twin era-correct, professionally installed DiMarzio humbuckers:

- Both pickups, parallel out of phase, with the neck pickup's bass response restricted through a series capacitor.

This 1976 Gibson L6-S Custom is in Very Good condition, part of a climate-controlled collection, with visible surface wear (pictured) consistent with age and appropriate touring and studio use over nearly 50 years. Era-correct DiMarzio pickups professionally installed and fully wired to six-way rotary selector. Does not include original pickups. Strap knobs professionally replaced. Includes original fitted hard case, one latch non-functional (pictured).
