Fender Custom Shop Limited-edition '59 Telecaster Journeyman Relic Aged Dakota Red w/Hard Case
The 1959 Telecaster with a AAA rosewood fingerboard imbued a rugged working man’s guitar with a distinctive warm, sustaining tonal character. The Custom Shop Limited-edition '59 Tele Journeyman Relic Aged Dakota Red represents what would have been a fairly rare 1959 model, with a rift sawn maple neck and several seamless modern customizations. The select alder body features a tastefully worn-in Relic Aged Dakota Red lacquer finish, while the neck has an instantly familiar '60s Oval C profile, 7.25” fingerboard radius and 21 frets.
Custom Shop Handwound '58 Tele Single-coil pickups are hooked up to a three-way switch and modern Tele® wiring, which retains mid-range when rolling off highs. Other features include a single-ply pickguard, traditional 3-barrel Telecaster bridge with Relic nickel finish, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and wing string tree. Also includes deluxe hardshell case, accessories, and certificate of authenticity.
