Handcrafted in Groton, Connecticut in 1925, this remarkably gently aged Bacon Style B Chicago Princess Tenor Resonator Banjo was sold exclusively through CMI (Chicago Musical Instruments), branded for the Midwest market. The confident, familiar feel of a 17-fret white maple neck with low, even action across the fingerboard and articulate, balanced tone of an 11" maple rim with removable metal resonator and original-spec Rogers head ensures this Bacon is still more than session-ready, bringing a healthy helping of vintage appeal to any live or studio set. Notes:
This 1925 Bacon Style B Chicago Princess 11" Tenor Resonator Banjo is in Excellent condition, part of a single-owner, climate controlled collection, with extremely light wear (pictured) consistent with age and occasional home use.
